Dândi works in this salon, doing general service jobs. The two meet by accident in the cellar, when Parvati is running away from all the futility of her party and Dândi is resting from kitchen work. They end up recognizing in each other the same contempt for all the artificiality that surrounds them, finding music as a way to escape that reality.
