A Good Place To Die

During wartime, a young Israeli woman living in Jerusalem embarks on a surreal journey in which she is forced to confront violence, responsibility, denial, and her own complicity within a violent reality she is part of. Paper cutouts, oil pastel paintings and street photography are woven together in a surreal mixed-media animated film, walking a line between dream and waking, reflecting the distorted reality of a never-ending cycle of war and death.

He shows animals frozen in motion, just as they were captured on the stone walls by the first painters. The paintings come to life to recreate dramatic hunts and herd migrations—scenes that fascinated and inspired the artists of the time.
