A group of students from Tbilisi is sent to practice with shepherds. Here, the goods are treated by old methods with the advice of doctors. Students begin to use new methods of treatment. Five years later, while traveling, Ginpei learns that the boss of the Onabe family has died and that the Hotate family is in trouble… Ginpei then returns to Shimoda.
